The building that house's the Bay Cafe is formally the Triple XXX Root Beer Stand. Photos are both pre-1950's and the building we are in from
the early 1950's.
During this time Birch Bay was considered the Coney Island of the Pacific Northwest with an amusement park next door and across the street. If you look closely to the left of the building next to the white ticket booth, there is a ride.
Our cafe is decorated with various antiques from the era of the 40s & 50s with photos and music to match. We have also added hard to find old time - retro candy to help take you back to the good old days!
Remember the classic candy such as: Black Jack , Clove and Beemans Gum, Sen Sen's, Candy Cigarettes, Chic 'O Sticks, Necco Wafers, Hot Toothpicks and Gum Cigars? We got 'em and a whole lot more!
